In several remote and underserved communities across Sierra Leone, children like Khadijah lack access to the essential educational resources they need to successfully complete their primary education. By building and equipping mini-libraries in these communities, GPRI is closing the gap in educational inequalities that persist.

Global Poverty Reduction Initiative, Inc (GPRI) is a purpose-driven, dedicated and committed 501 (c) (3) Christian non-profit organization with a vision of a world free from poverty, where opportunities abound for everyone to flourish.
Through our four transformative programs; Health, Education, Advocacy and Livelihood Support – HEAL, GPRI is committed to the positive transformation of communities and the empowerment of individuals whose valuable potentials have been cloaked by poverty, diseases, war and natural disasters to lead healthy, educated, and prosperous lives.
The Health Program at GPRI focuses on promoting health equity through a comprehensive approach that includes Primary Healthcare Service Delivery, Disease Prevention, Health Education, and Health Systems Strengthening. By targeting Maternal & Child Healthcare, Preventive Health Services, and infrastructure support for healthcare facilities, GPRI aims to improve health outcomes in underserved communities by ensuring access to quality and affordable care for all.
We are committed to providing scholarship opportunities for underprivileged individuals and constructing education and learning facilities, including libraries and schools, in underserved communities. Our goal is to empower individuals and positively transform resource-marginalized communities through education and create a brighter future for the next generation.
Our advocacy initiatives focus on social service delivery to underprivileged populations, advocating for access to quality and affordable healthcare services, as well as quality and affordable education, to social and economic opportunities for vulnerable older widows and single mothers and out-of-school single teenage-mothers. We work to amplify the voices of those in need and advocate for policies that promote social justice and equity.
We provide support to vulnerable older widows, single mothers, and out-of-school single teenage mothers through livelihood programs that empower them to become self-reliant and economically independent. By offering skills training and resources, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and create sustainable livelihoods.
At the heart of our organization lies an unwavering commitment to alleviating suffering and hardship, underpinned by the teachings and love of Christ.
